It is hard to believe that 11 years ago we were sitting before a judge in Russia, waiting to hear those glorious words- She's yours! Today we celebrate Gotcha Day! Miri loves this day more than she loves her birthday. She loves to hear her adoption story... that she was chosen by the Lord from across the world to be a part of our family! How we thank the Lord for our precious girl!!!

Sharing in your happiness today! Leni's Gotcha day was yesterday!! We should do a Gotcha party sometime:) for these 2!! (The blonde will have issues big time because she was 'gotten' at birth and doesn't have a separate 'day'.Whatever shall we do about that??) Congrats to you Miri!! We Love your family!!

How cool of Our God. When I read this I thought of how God must have (and I know it is/was)loved/loves me, to be picked for such a time as this. To be here in Charlotte, to have the dear frinds I have, for this apartment that I dearly love, to be in a wonderful church that preaches the gospel as it is, to our Pastors that are dearly commited to seeing each and every one of us take closer steps towards God, and will share their concerns if they see us taking a step back. WOW, this has started my day focusing on Him. Thank YOU for blessing me like that. Love you muchly!~Reesa..........;o)
